Co-founder & CEO
John Konsin
John has spent the majority of his life working on the development and introduction of life changing products. After working for global medical device companies he created Prapela to give back and help improve the health and wellness of infants and their caregivers. A father to 3 young men, he's especially motivated to help ease the pain of withdrawal experienced by opioid-exposed infants.

Dr. David Paydarfar
David Paydarfar is professor and the inaugural chair of the Department of Neurology at the Dell Medical School UT Austin and principal inventor of Prapela's vibration for newborns. He previously served as professor and executive vice-chair of the Department of Neurology at the UMass Medical School and as an associate faculty member of the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University.

Jim Niemi
Jim has over 25 years of experience working in medical device research and development. For nearly the last 20 years, Jim has worked on applications of stochastic resonance for neuromuscular control and sensory enhancement across a variety of clinical indications. Jim led the infant device development at the Wyss Institute for nearly a decade.

David Morrill
Dave is an engineer at heart. He has a proven record of providing simple and effective solutions to complex problems. Since joining Prapela, David has improved the performance of our precisely controlled vibration and the methods used to test product performance and quality. He also enjoys spending time with his family on his farm in rural Maine.

John Parker
John Parker is Founder of Springhood and Managing Director of CH Innovations LLC, making program-related investments in young companies that seek to improve children's health and quality of life on behalf of the Charles H. Hood Foundation. He provides insights and advice to Mr. Konsin, CEO of Prapela.
